Leadership Through Golf

Learning from Life’s Divots
Monday, March 8
1:30 – 5:00 p.m.

You have a passion for golf, and you’d like to lower your score.
You have a passion for leadership, and you’d like to raise the bar.

During this unique physical and experiential workshop, your golf game will benefit from a swing-thought-provoking lesson focusing on fundamentals of the swing from “grip it” to “rip it.” Or if Colorado’s weather moves us indoors from “grip it” to “chip it.”

Your management game will benefit, too, from this innovative way of exploring leadership strategies and tactics by participating in activities inspired by golf swing analogies and scenarios from the game of golf.

Ron and ReggieMeet the creators and facilitators of this session:

You may know Ron McNally, CAE in his role as ASAE & The Center’s chief community officer. During this half-day session, you’ll discover that Ron is also a powerful and patient golf coach.

Executive coach Tom Pierce, MBA, president of Pierce Management Development, has played a leadership role during recent ASAE & The Center Annual Meetings. Tom was the content leader for the incredibly well-received Learning Lab “How Emotionally Intelligent is Your Association?” This session was such a success that it is being repeated at this conference under the ‘best of the best’ on Tuesday. Tom also served as an ASAE CareerHQ coach at the Chicago, San Diego, and Toronto Annual Meetings.

You may know Reggie Henry, CAE in his role of chief technology officer for ASAE & The Center. You may not know that Reggie is one of Ron’s star golf students! Reggie will join Ron and Tom to present the technical aspects of golf and leadership.

Are you a new golfer? An old pro? An emerging leader? A CEO?
Whatever your level on the course, or in the course of your work, you’ll never look at golf—or leadership—the same way.
