Education Sessions

Why is this the conference where great ideas are created? Here is a sampling of what was offered in 2012:

  • An Opening General Session with John Kao, chairman of the World Economic Forum's Global Advisory Council on Innovation, and whom has been dubbed Mr. Creativity by The Economist.
  • General Session: Carmine Gallo, author of The Innovation Secrets of Steve Jobs and the newly released, The Power of Foursquare, shared seven principles that helped attendees discover new and creative ways for their associations to succeed.
  • Deep Dive sessions — held on the top of the mountain. Executives tackled some of your tough challenges, including how to create a more human association, five radical changes associations must make to remain relevant, future trends related to mobile technology, and curating and connecting knowledge, learning, and community.
  • Half-day Workshops — Executives explored important association topics in depth with their peers. The half-day workshops discussed how to move your organization from ordinary to extraordinary, lead differently to advance your organization, prepare for the association shift of the future, and analyze your current processes through systems thinking to help you work better.
  • Next Generation Learning — Attendees experienced original learning formats where you will explore new models for association education, how to create customized learning experiences, and more.
  • Creativity Room — It was indoor recess at its very best. The room's activities challenged attendees to think rather than merely have thoughts… all while playing.
  • Photo Sessions — Attendees absorbed the beauty of a sunrise photo safari at The Broadmoor and a sunset exploration at Garden of the Gods.
  • Behind the Scenes of the Broadmoor — Back by popular demand; attendees had the opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at how The Broadmoor delivers such exceptional service year in and year out.
  • And much much more!
